This policy explains what personal data is collected when you use Best Malaysian Hotels and how it is used.

Data you give us

When you book, we collect the details entered in the booking form: guest names, e-mail address, phone number, any special requests, and the stay itself (hotel, dates, room and price). Payment card details are entered into the payment form and handled by the payment provider.

How it is used

• To make your booking with the hotel through our accommodation suppliers.
• To send your booking confirmation and voucher, and to let you view or cancel the booking.
• To deal with questions or problems relating to your stay.
• To meet legal, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations.

Who it is shared with

Booking details are shared with the accommodation supplier and the hotel so that the reservation can be made and honoured, and with the payment provider to process payment. We do not sell personal data.

Searches and browsing

Search terms, dates and guest numbers are sent to our servers to find available hotels. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. Map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap's tile servers and hotel photos from our supplier's image servers; like any website request, these servers receive your IP address.

Storage in your browser

The site stores a small amount of information in your browser to work properly. See the Cookie policy for details.

Retention

Booking records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal requirements.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where it no longer needs to be kept.
